EAT TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS

When you are not seeing much movement on the scale, it is tempting to try to eat less and exercise more, but to properly lose weight or achieve our overall wellness goals, our bodies need sufficient nourishment, tender love and care on a daily basis. Eating to meet your daily calorie limits ensures that you’re getting important calories for overall health and are within a calorie deficit or surplus to help with weight loss or gain.

When it comes to losing weight, eating below your caloric or macro goals frequently can slow down your metabolism in order to preserve energy and stagnate your weight loss. Adhering to your recommended macro intake helps keep your metabolism moving and ensures your body has all that it needs to reach your goals!

Getting in exercise? It’s important log intentional exercise to ensure you’re eating enough to replenish calories burned through fitness. Keep in mind the more active that you are, the more your body burns and the more your body needs in nutrients to power you up and give you the fuel that you need.
